Packaging Check

Does your package make one promise?

Your title sells it, your thumbnail shows it, your first line pays it off. Packaging Check reads all three together and shows where the promise breaks.

Free account · 15 credits, 3 full checks · no card. Your image is read once and not stored.

How it works

Three steps. One package that's ready to publish.

  1. Paste the package

The title you plan to publish, the thumbnail (image or just its words) and the first line you will say on camera.

  2. Read against the winners

We find videos on your topic that beat their own channel's average. An AI editor sees them (titles and thumbnails), reads your three parts together and checks each against them.

  3. Fix and rewrite

You get one issue and one fix per part, the mismatches between them, and a rewritten package that keeps your topic and claims.

What you get

Every field in a Packaging Check report.

See them filled in on a real report

Payoff risk
Low, medium or high: does the first line deliver what the click was for.
Per-part read
Title, thumbnail and first line each with one issue, what the winners do there, and one concrete fix.
Mismatches
Every pair that pulls in a different direction, named in one sentence.
Rewritten package
A new title, thumbnail text and first line, each copyable.

Method

Real data in. Clear fixes out.

AI judgement

A sharp editor's read with the reason attached, so you know exactly what to change.

  • The verdict, the promise, the payoff risk, issues, fixes and mismatches.
  • The rewrite. It is told to keep your topic and never add numbers or results you did not state.
  • The search phrase used to find evidence videos.

Measured or computed

Hard numbers from real YouTube data.

  • Evidence badges: views ÷ the median views of that channel's recent uploads, from the YouTube Data API at the time of the check.
  • Channels with a median under 1,000 views get no badge, because the multiple would be noise.
  • Credits: 5 per check, 10 with an image, charged only when the check comes back.

Privacy. Thumbnail images are resized in your browser before they are sent and are not stored. The title, first line and result are saved to your private workspace. Nothing is published or shared. Privacy policy · How scores work

FAQ

Packaging Check questions

What does Packaging Check tell me?

It finds real videos on your topic that beat their own channel's average and checks your package against them: a verdict (ready, one change, or rework) with the reason, the promise a viewer will expect, the payoff risk, one issue and one fix per part with what the winners do there, every mismatch between two parts, and a rewritten package.

Do I need to upload the thumbnail image?

No. You can type the words on the thumbnail and the check judges it from its text for 5 credits. With the image attached the AI reads the picture itself, which costs 10 credits.

Does a "publish" verdict mean more views?

No. The verdict is an AI editor's second opinion on whether the three parts make one clear promise, made next to videos that beat their own channel on your topic. It is not a prediction of views or click-through rate. Check real performance in YouTube Studio once the video is live.

Where do the example videos in the report come from?

The report searches YouTube for the topic through the YouTube Data API and lists real videos. The badge on each is measured: its views divided by the median views of that channel's recent uploads. Channels too small for a stable median get no badge.

Is my thumbnail stored?

The image is resized in your browser, sent once for the read and not stored. The text of the check (title, first line and the result) is saved to your private workspace so you can find it again.
